For Porsche AG, the Porsche Museum has always been more than a physical destination — it’s a global symbol of heritage, innovation, and passion. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with a clear commitment to digital excellence, Porsche challenged us to reimagine the museum experience and make it more accessible, immersive and interactive for both online users and in-person visitors.

The goal was to create a high-value virtual experience that would not only maintain engagement during periods of restricted travel, but also evolve into a permanent tool for storytelling, education, and event hosting — fully aligned with Porsche’s forward-thinking brand philosophy.

Our Approach

The immersive Porsche Museum experience was developed by our sister company, Little Planet x ViewKraft, a team renowned for crafting high-end, interactive digital environments and virtual storytelling experiences. With their deep expertise in 360° content creation, photogrammetry, and spatial navigation, Little Planet designed a cutting-edge platform that invites users to explore the museum like never before — from the archives to the rooftop.

The experience goes far beyond a standard virtual tour. Users can:

Walk freely through the museum space in ultra-high definition;

Step inside legendary Porsche models, accessing views normally off-limits to visitors;

Interact with technical and historical content embedded within the environment.

Meanwhile, we supported a part of the production by capturing the photography and behind-the-scenes content, working closely with Little Planet to document the creation process and highlight the innovation driving the project. This visual coverage was also used to support internal communications and digital promotions around the launch.

The project has continued to evolve since its initial rollout, including the co-development of a dynamic tool for the Porsche sales team, enabling them to transform the museum into a virtual event and presentation platform, opening new business and engagement opportunities within the iconic space.
