With EURO 2024 around the corner, Obelgix wanted to continue building momentum on TikTok by leveraging timely cultural trends and national football enthusiasm. The objective was clear: create a short, high-impact video that would connect emotionally with fans, align with current TikTok trends, and further grow the brand’s visibility during a key moment in Belgian sports culture.

Our Approach

Tapping into the viral “It’s Friday Night” TikTok trend, we developed a playful and culturally relevant video that merged the celebratory mood of match nights with the bold tone of Obelgix. Designed for social media virality, the video featured quick cuts, humor, and relatable fan behavior — all optimally timed with the opening of the EURO 2024 tournament. Beyond TikTok, the video struck such a chord with audiences that it was picked up and aired nationally during Sporza’s live coverage, amplifying its reach far beyond digital.
